Dr. Patel received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, and went on to complete her Oncology Specialty Residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center. She currently practices at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Patel serves as the clinical pharmacist providing pharmacotherapy treatment recommendations and monitoring medication regimens. Through a collaborative practice agreement, she is able to focus her clinical practice on supportive care management in brain tumor patients.
