Barbara J. O’Brien, M.D., is an assistant professor of Neuro-Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She specializes in the management of primary brain tumors and leptomeningeal metastasis. Following a clinical fellowship in neuro-oncology at MD Anderson, she joined the faculty in 2014. She has served as principal investigator on multiple clinical trials for patients with primary brain tumors, brain metastasis and leptomeningeal metastasis, leads the liquid biopsy initiative within MD Anderson’s Glioblastoma Moon Shot™, and is a core member of MD Anderson’s Brain Metastasis Program and Clinic.
