Prof. Dr. Frank A. Giordano is Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology and the DKFZ-Hector Cancer Institute of the University Medical Center Mannheim at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. His research interests are CNS tumors with particular focus on glioblastoma and CNS metastases. Current scientific projects include the phase III multicentric randomized INTRAGO II trial for intraoperative radiotherapy of glioblastoma and the phase I/II GLORIA trial testing radiotherapy and CXCL12-inhibition in unmethylated glioblastoma.
