Deborah Forst, MD is a Neuro-Oncologist at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, and an Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School. In addition to her work caring for patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors and neurological complications of cancer, she serves as Associate Fellowship Director for the Massachusetts General Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women’s Hospital Neuro-Oncology Fellowship Program, devoting a significant portion of her efforts towards training the next generation of neuro- oncologists. Dr. Forst is an outcomes researcher focused on palliative and supportive care interventions for patients with brain tumors and their family caregivers, and improving communication about illness understanding and prognosis between these patients, their caregivers and their treating clinicians.
