Dr. Julie Bennett MD is a pediatric neuro-oncologist, currently appointed at both the Hospital for Sick Children and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto with a focus on adolescent and young adult (AYA) neuro-oncology. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota, followed by pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Toronto. She then did a research fellowship focused on gliomas in AYAs under the mentorship of Drs. Cynthia Hawkins and Uri Tabori. Her clinical and research interests include molecular biology of brain tumors in AYA, increasing clinical trial opportunities for this population and advancing outcomes.
