Dr. Sener specializes in the treatment of cancers arising from the central nervous system, as well as the neurological complications of systemic cancers. His research interests include leptomeningeal disease and development of new therapeutics for patients with cancers of the brain and the spinal cord. Dr. Sener is an investigator in multiple clinical trials for patients with primary brain and spinal cord tumors including gliomas and meningiomas. He recently received the Mayo Clinic Decentralized Clinical Trial Award for his work developing new decentralized patient assessment and treatment capabilities to improve clinical trial access and participation for patients with central nervous system tumors.
