Tareq Juratli is an associate professor and the vice chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital. He is the director of the Neuro-Oncology Center at the National Center for Tumor Diseases in Dresden. His laboratory investigates molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis and identifies strategies for treating patients with CNS tumors. His clinical practice is highly focused on clinical innovation to improve the care of brain and spine tumor patients.
