My name is Joshua Katz, B.S, and I am a Research Technologist in the Lee-Chang Laboratory of the Department of Neurosurgery at Northwestern University. I received my B.S in History as a premedical student with an emphasis and certificate in Health and the Humanities from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May of 2022. At this moment, I am actively enrolled in the Advanced Studies in Biology for the Health Professions certificate program at Northwestern University School of Professional Studies with an expected completion date in June 2024. In parallel with my academic endeavors, my work in the Lee-Chang laboratory centers on the translational approach to treating CNS tumor growth and related diseases utilizing B cells as the center for the development of immunotherapies. In the coming year, my aspirations are to utilize my past experience to submit my application to medical school and further my career in the health sciences.
