Dr. Vaishali Suri is a Professor of Neuropathology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Dr. Suri has emerged as a leading expert in the domains of Neuro-Oncopathology and Molecular Oncopathology.
Over her career, Dr. Suri has authored 200+ research papers in esteemed national and international journals, accumulating over 3,199 citations and boasting an impressive h-index of 30. She has also contributed to 11 book chapters and co-edited the pivotal work, "Essentials of Diagnostic Surgical Neuropathology."As a Principal Investigator, Dr. Suri has successfully led numerous funded research projects, particularly in pediatric neuro-oncology and molecular biomarkers in CNS tumors. Her leadership extends to the Neuropathology Society of India, where she currently serves as Joint Secretary. Dr. Suri's research has focused on diverse tumor types, including meningiomas and glioblastomas, with a mission to uncover molecular biomarkers for enhanced diagnostics and treatment decisions. She pioneered protocols for medulloblastoma subgrouping and identified critical molecular markers for glioma diagnosis and prognosis.
Beyond her research, Dr. Suri's mentorship has guided numerous MD, PhD, DM, and MCh students. She has delivered 100+ lectures at national and international conferences and organized molecular workshops. Her expertise led to invitations to national expert committees and research advisory boards.
