Zachariah P. Tritz is a 5th year graduate student at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, completing his Immunology Ph.D. in the laboratory of Dr. Aaron J. Johnson. His current research interest is in the interplay of glioblastoma-mediated immunosupression and immunotherapeutic interventions, using the GL261 experimental glioma model. These interests are complemented in a first author review paper he recently had published in the journal Neuro-Oncology Advances, detailing the discrepent reported efficacies of anti-PD-1 checkpoint blockade in the GL261 model and proposing technical underpinnings of these widely variant published experimental outcomes.
