I am a first-year Ph.D. student at Northwestern University interested in brain tumor immunotherapy. My interest in biomedicine was sparked during my undergraduate research while working on a translational research project at National Chung Hsing University. From establishing and optimizing the therapy model to the in vivo treatment for Hemophilia mice, I was fascinated by how basic sciences can lead to developing a novel disease treatment. Moreover, my research experience during my summer internship at Academia Sinica and my exchange student period at the University of California, Davis, encouraged me to become a graduate student studying metabolism/immune response in brain tumors in the Miska lab at Northwestern University.
