Dr. David Schiff is the Harrison Distinguished Teaching Professor of Neurology, Neurological Surgery, and Medicine at the University of Virginia, where he co-directs the Neuro-Oncology Center. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, he completed neurology residency at Harvard-Longwood before pursuing neuro-oncology training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Mayo Clinic. His expertise includes clinical trials for primary brain tumors and the neurological complications of systemic cancers. He co-chairs the ECOG-ACRIN Brain Tumor Working Group and the SNO Guidelines Committee. He serves on several editorial boards, including as an associate editor for Neuro-Oncology.
