Tracy Batchelor, M.D. is the Miriam Sydney Joseph Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, Neurologist-In-Chief and Chair of the Department of Neurology, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Co-Leader of the Neuro-Oncology Program at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC). His research focus is experimental therapeutics for primary brain tumors with over 350 peer-reviewed publications in these areas. He is the principal investigator of 3 major National Cancer Institute (NCI) awards, 1) the DF/HCC P50/SPORE, Targeted Therapies for Glioma, 2) the Harvard/Stanford U19/Glioblastoma Therapeutics Network award, Targeted Therapies for Glioblastoma, and the K12 training grant, Training Program in Nervous System Tumors. He is the elected co-chair of the NCI Brain Malignancies Steering Committee and the elected President of the Society for Neuro-Oncology. He has mentored over 100 Neuro-Oncology trainees and K12 scholars.
