Cristiane M. Ida, MD is is a co-director of the Mayo Clinic Laboratory of Genetics and Genomics, and currently holds the academic rank of assistant professor. She obtained her M.D. degree and Anatomic Pathology training from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Subsequenlty, she completed residency in Anatomic Pathology as well as Neuropathology and Molecular Genetic Pathology fellowships at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Ida's clinical practice and research interests include brain tumor genetics and clinical genetic test development.
