Margaret O. Johnson, MD, MPH
Dr. Johnson completed her residency in Neurology and fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. After fellowship in Neuro-oncology at Duke, she joined The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke as faculty. She provides Neuro-oncology expertise to Veterans through the VA’s National Tele-oncology and Precision Oncology Programs. Dr. Johnson’s primary focuses are patient care and clinical research. Her clinical research focuses on using patient-centered outcomes to evaluate systems-based models of delivering integrated palliative care to brain tumor patients. In addition, she has a particular interest in better understanding and improving health outcomes in older patients with brain cancer.
