Chi Zhang, MD, PhD, Associate Professor at Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Nebraska Medical Center.
I completed my medical degree training at Miller School of Medicine, Universtity of Miami, FL and residency at Radiation Oncology at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, NY. Currently I am a physician scientitist with clinical practice focusing on central nervous system tumors and my laboratory research interests in identifying novel markers/targets in glioblastoma. Another main direction of my laboratory research is to utilize nanotechnology to facilitate drug penetration of blood-brain barrier for enhancing tumor suppresion and immunomodulation.
