Eli L. Diamond, MD, MPhil is an Associate Attending in the Departments of Neurology (Brain Tumor Service) and Medicine (Early Drug Development Service) at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). His clinical practice and research focus upon histiocytic neoplasms including Langerhans cell histiocytosis, Erdheim-Chester Disease, Rosai-Dorfman Disease, and histiocytic sarcoma. His investigations span the ares of molecular pathogenesis, targeted therapies and other novel therapeutics, biomarkers of treatment response and resistance, neurohistiocytosis, symptom science, and caregiver needs. He is the Chair of the Rare Histiocytic Disorders Steering Committee of the Histiocyte Society and Chair of the Medical Advisory Board of the Erdheim-Chester Disease Global Alliance. He also studies patient-physician communication and prognostic understanding in patients with malignant brain tumors.
