Minjie's journey in the world of science began with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, which she earned from Tsinghua University. Her passion for research and genetics led her to pursue a Ph.D. in Biomedical Genetics from the University of Rochester Medical Center. After completing her doctoral studies, Minjie honed her expertise through postdoctoral training at Boston Children's Hospital/Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where she further developed her skills in translational medicine and cutting-edge research.
Prior to her current role at Tango Therapeutics, Minjie gained valuable experience in both clinical and biotech settings. She played a vital role in the translational functions of a clinical-stage company Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma, contributing to the advancement of novel therapies. Additionally, Minjie made valuable contributions to the biotech industry during her time at Xilio Therapeutics.
