I am Susanne D. Jacobs, MSN, FNP-BC Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, Duke University Medical Center. I've been a nurse for 31 years and a Nurse Pracitioner for 21 years. My background is in family pracitice/internal medicine. I began my oncology career in 2013 at Duke and joined our remarkable medical Neuro-Oncology team in 2017. I am captivated by all things brain tumor and have a special interest in Palliative Care and helping my patients and their caregivers manage existential distress. When not working, I spend as much time outdoors as possible either camping, hiking or sailing.
