Dr. Masamichi Takahashi is a Japanese board-certified Neurosurgeon. Dr. Takahashi's educational background includes an MD from Niigata University and PhD from the University of Tokyo. He completed residency training in Neurosurgery at the University of Tokyo Hospital and related hospitals including National Cancer Center Hospital and sub-specialized in Neuro-Oncology. After being board-certified by Japan Neurosurgical Society, he entered the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine in 2007 and studied oncolytic virus therapy followed by post-doctoral fellow at University of California at Los Angeles, where he studied retroviral replicating vectors. Dr. Takahashi is Staff Neurosurgeon of Department of Neurosurgery and Neuro-Oncology at National Cancer Center Hospital, where he has been since 2014. His research is in the area of translatoinal research in Neuro-Oncology. He has a broad list of medical publications, abstracts, and posters. He is currently dedicated in a number of clical trials conducted by pharmaceutical companies and conducting an investigator-initiated clinical trial.
