Yoshitaka NARITA, MD., PhD. is the chairman of Department of Neurosurgery and Neuro-Oncology, National Cancer Center Hospital, Tokyo, Japan. He is a neurosurgeon and a specialist for glioma surgery with awake craniotomy. His research focus are genetic analysis and experimental therapeutics for primary brain tumors. He is the chair of Japan Clinical Oncology Group (JCOG), Brain tumor study group and conducts many clinical trials for gliomas, primary central nervous system lymphomas and brain metastases. He is the director of Japan Society for Neuro-Oncology (JSNO), the Japanese Congress for Brain Tumor Surgery and the Japan Society of Brain Tumor Pathology and held the 40th annual meeting of JSNO on December, 2022 (Neuro-Oncology Advances, Volume 4, Issue Supplement_3, December 2022)
