Tigran Margaryan, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral fellow at Ivy Brain Tumor Center at Barrow Neurological Institute, Phoenix, Arizona. He obtained his Ph.D. degree at the Yerevan State Medical University and joined Darmantest Laboratories as a Senior Scientist. He gained substantial experience in liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS)-based method development for quantification of small molecules in biological tissues. Dr. Margaryan has joined the Ivy Brain Tumor Center in 2020 and currently works on understanding brain penetration properties of various molecules both in preclinical and clinical settings. He develops assays for measuring levels of drugs, metabolites, and biomarkers in the samples of brain tumor patients and evaluates their neuro-pharmacokinetic behavior.
