Dr. Lynette Phillips is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the laboratory of Dr. Frederick F. Lang. Dr. Phillips received her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Baylor College of Medicine and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at MD Anderson in the Department of Pathology. Her research interests involve developing animal models in which to study the biology of glioma development and progression and evaluating novel preclinical anti-glioma therapeutic strategies. Her current research focuses on exploring the anti-tumor mechanisms of the oncolytic adenovirus, Delta-24-RGD, in an immunocompetent and adenovirus-permissive hamster model.
