Dr. Tiago Carvalheiro, PhD is a Postdoctoral researcher in Stefan Nierkens Lab at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology (The Netherlands) since 2022. He has a large experience in translational immunology in cancer and autoimmunity, with current research focus on pediatric immune neuro-oncology. He is expert in profiling the immune system across various tissues and in the functional characterization of immune responses. Dr. Carvalheiro obtained his PhD at the University Medical Center Utrecht – Utrecht University in the Netherlands and has (co-)authored >40 peer-reviewed scientific publications thus far.
