Dr. Omar Hameed Butt, MD PhD is currently a fellow at Washington University in Saint Louis, MO.
He has a broad interest in integrating advanced neuroimaging with novel serum/CSF biomarker analyses to better understand the underlying pathophysiology of neuro-oncologic and neurodegenerative disorders. This includes both neuro-toxicities secondary to cancer therapies as well as Alzheimer's Disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Having recently completed residency and serving as chief resident at Washington University in Saint Louis, he is now completing his neuro-oncology fellowship (6/2022) with an ultimate goal of an academic position at a research institution where he can apply his unique skill set.
